Annie’s
colourful singing career spans concert, television, musical
theatre, film and album recording work, and she is also a sought-after
vocal coach and arranger.
In concert, Annie has starred in a two series of ‘Sounds
of the 70’s’ with the Performing Arts Symphony Orchestra
and also performed with the RTE Concert Orchestra in Dublin.
She has appeared as a soloist in many international performances
of ‘The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber’ and two Scandinavian
tours of ‘The Magic of Broadway’, as well as giving
a highly acclaimed performance at The Royal Albert Hall for
the British Motor Transport Awards. Annie has toured the UK
and Australia with Michael Ball and was guest soloist for Michael
Crawford’s UK tour. She sings lead vocals with the London-based
band, ‘The Soul Police’.
For television, Annie has appeared as guest artist on the ‘Mike
Doyle’ series for BBC Wales and as a celebrity contestant
on ‘The Lyrics Game’ TV series for Presentable Productions.
She also acted as head of the judging panel for the BBC TV talent
series ‘Just Up Your Street’. Other TV engagements
include ‘Barrymore’ and ‘My Kind of Music’
(LWT), ‘Top of the Pops’ (BBC), ‘Hidden Talents’
(LWT), ‘Lily Savage Live’ (Carlton), ‘Star
for a Night’ (BBC), ‘Des O’Connor Tonight’
(Thames), ‘Parkinson’ (BBC), ‘This is my Moment’
(Granada TV), ‘Conley’ (Carlton), ‘The National
Lottery’ (BBC), ‘Give your Mate a Break’ (Granada
TV), and ‘The Classical Brit Awards’, together with
numerous Royal Variety Performances. Annie has recorded signature
tunes for ‘French & Saunders’, ‘Birds
of a Feather’ and ‘Absolutely Fabulous’.
Musical theatre experience includes ‘Cats’, ‘Grease’,
‘Hair’, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, ‘Guys
& Dolls’, ‘Bitter Sweet’, ‘Follies’,
‘Mack & Mabel’, ‘Nymph Errant’,

‘Carousel’, ‘Fame!’ and ‘Miss
Saigon’.
Film soundtracks include ‘Evita’, ‘Phantom
of the Opera’, ‘A Christmas Carol’, ‘Entrapment’,
‘Cats’, ‘Willow’, ‘The Land Before
Time’, ‘All Dogs go to Heaven’, ‘Joseph
and his Dreamcoat’, ‘Cotton Mary’, ‘The

As well as recording her own album, ‘What a Woman Can
Do’, Annie has had the privilege of singing with such
artists as Robbie Williams, Beyonce, Elton John, LeAnn Rimes,
Ronan Keating, Lesley Garrett, Brian McFadden, Cliff Richard,
Gloria Estefan, Eternal, Gareth Gates, Diana Ross, Will Young,
Martine McCutcheon, A1, Vinnie Jones, Atomic Kitten, Robson
Green, Madonna, Al Jarreau and Jose Carreras.
As a vocal coach and
arranger, Annie has
most recently worked on ‘The X Factor’ for ITV as
vocal consultant for Simon Cowell’s team. Annie has worked
with Hear’say and Atomic Kitten, and was vocal
coach for the TV series 'Popstars' (Carlton TV) and 'This
is My Moment' (Granada TV). She was invited to be vocal
coach for Mis-teeq and worked on ‘Little Robots’
(BBC TV) with Lenny Henry. Annie's vocal
arranging work can be heard on recordings for artists such
as Cliff Richard, Beyonce, Hear’say, Girls Aloud, Robson
Green, Michael Ball, Martine McCutcheon, Vinnie Jones, Denise
Van Outen and Vincenzo la Scola. Annie wrote the vocal
arrangements for American Idol and Junior Idol and arranged
the vocals for the US No. 1 singles ‘God Bless the USA’,
‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ and ‘Summertime’.
